About us
Hollow Farm provides a tranquil location in which to relax and enjoy your horse, with first class facilities to meet you and your horse’s needs in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.
We are set in 120 acres of beautiful Gloucestershire countryside, close to renowned competition centres including Hartpury and Prestige, and within easy reach of Gloucester and the M5.
Our goal is to enable horses and riders to find balance, and develop a specialist holistic care and ethical training and rehabilitation centre.

Chris Irwin, Mind Your Horse
The 'Train the trainer' clinic
Take a comprehensive deep dive into horse handling essentials, groundwork exercises and riding with renowned Canadian horseman Chris Irwin in a rare UK visit.
Chris' mission is to "sensitize the owner, not de-sensitize the horse".
Over 2 days the clinic will cover:
- Understanding and resolving why horses can be difficult in the stable, to catch, halter and/or bridle
- Redefining leading in-hand to maximise respect, trust, balance, relaxation, focus and throughness
-Redefining and problem-solving on the lunge line, in the round pen, or long-lining
- Redefining / problem solving in the saddle. Addressing and resolving the issues which cause soreness, stiffness, physical breakdowns, ulcers, fear, frustration, refusals, stubborness, lack of impulsion and anger in horses. Precision and refinement through all the gaits to enhance forward, suppleness and relaxation during riding.
